Project Description

Wedding Mandap – Fuchsia, Marigold & Gold Accents

A vibrant indoor mandap setup designed for an intimate traditional ceremony. The palette of fuchsia pink, saffron orange, and gold conveyed festivity, warmth, and sacredness.

Design Elements

  • Four-post wooden mandap draped in layered fuchsia and marigold fabric, tied with floral garlands.

  • Ceiling adorned with concentric marigold rings, creating a floral chandelier effect.

  • Banana leaves and tropical greens in brass urns added organic depth.

  • Urulis with flower petals, brass diyas, and kalashams enhanced the sacred atmosphere.

  • Cream and gold printed fabric backdrop with wooden pooja chowkis placed symmetrically.

  • South Indian elements like banana plantain stalks, hanging temple bells, and a nearby wooden oonjal (swing) added cultural richness.

  • Accent touches included pom-pom garlands, lotus platters, and floral rangoli.

The setup merged traditional South Indian aesthetics with bold, festive colors—creating a sacred, soulful, and immersive wedding environment.
